JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. – An investigation is underway after the body of a Seymour man was found on the grounds of St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
North Vernon police said they were dispatched to the hospital after receiving a suspicious activity report early Sunday morning.
Officers say they discovered 53-year-old Gary Keith Fields unresponsive in a grassy area on hospital property.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital and an autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
A cause of death has not been determined, police said.
