BATESVILLE, Ind. — The Batesville Parks department will be having a flag raising ceremony on Tuesday, April 4th starting at 5:15 to dedicate the new 40′ flagpole that was recently installed at Liberty Field.
The ceremony will be held at the baseball grandstand in Liberty Park, with a Batesville High School varsity baseball game following at 5:30.
The new flagpole was made possible through donations from the Batesville Veteran’s of Foreign Wars, VFW men’s auxiliary, VFW ladies auxiliary, American Legion Post 271, Batesville Volunteer Fire Department, Knights of Columbus, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1130, and Batesville Kiwanis.
