Karen M. Luers, 60, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
She was born March 7, 1964, in Lawrenceburg, IN, daughter of the late Clifford J. Luers and Martha Jane (Bockhorst) Luers.
Karen was a volunteer at Dearborn County Hospital with over 10 years of service. Her favorite past time was sewing quilts, she really enjoyed making different sports themed quilts. Karen was always saying, “If I made you smile or laugh, you made my day”.
Karen is survived by her friends and caretakers, Missy & Jeremy Shull, their children Brodie and Mackenzie, Frances Hensley and Lisa Fahey, Ruth Wilson, Kathy Lockhard and a few cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Martha Luers; and brother, Mark Luers.
Friends will be received Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at the St. John Lutheran Church, 4937 State Route 48, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Services will be held at the church at 12:00 pm with Pastor Phil Garber officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, IN.
