Kenneth Paul Caudill of New Point, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg, IN. He was 85 years old. The son of Jesse and Rose (nee: Keller) Caudill was born on June 8, 1933 in Beattyville, Kentucky.
Kenneth married Marie Davidson on September 2, 1956 in Brookville, IN. Together they raised three children. He retired from New Point Body Shop, which he owned and operated for years.
Kenneth loved to race cars. He actually had many trophies to show for it. He was a good mechanic and liked building things. He had built or modified quite a few hot rods over the years. Kenneth enjoyed playing music and at one time was in a band called the New Point Gospel Heirs. Their group traveled all over playing concerts. The New Point Baptist Church member was very involved with his church and had been a deacon for 28 years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Marie; son, Jerry Paul Caudill of New Point; daughters Teresa (Dennis) Collins of Indianapolis and Trina Caudill of New Point; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one brother Coye Caudill of West Carrolton, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Wilton, Ray, John, Wendall and Jewell Caudill plus sisters, Helen Davidson and Nannie Mann.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 10am – 1pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30pm at the New Point Baptist Church in New Point. Bro. Troy Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Rossburg Cemetery, New Point.
