GREENSBURG, Ind. — A subsidiary of Kroger broke ground yesterday on the first part of a $9.5 million investment in Greensburg.
K.B. Specialty Foods says it expects construction of a new wastewater treatment system to be completed next summer.
The company says the new system will include technology to modernize the disposal of food byproducts.
It will have the ability to capture biogas and burn it to generate electricity.
Once the new system is operational, the old tank will be removed.
