Jennings County, In. — Indiana State Police and the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department investigated a fatal crash Friday around 6 p.m. on County Road 450 West near U.S. 50.
The crash reconstruction team determined a car driven by Travis Green, 31, of North Vernon, was northbound on County Road 450 West when he lost control of the vehicle. The car hit a tree, reentered the roadway and caught fire.
Green was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
