Janice D Fehrman, 77, Aurora, Indiana went to be with her Savior on Sunday, May 29, 2016.
She was born October 5, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Daughter of the late William K Downey and the late Ellen Martin Downey.
Jan was a lifelong resident of Aurora and she attended the First Baptist Church Aurora. Jan started her real estate career as a secretary for Burress Realty before founding Fehrman Realty with her husband Bob. Jan worked as an owner/broker of Fehrman Realty retiring after over 35 years. She was a caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid member of the Red Hat Society, Hospice Volunteer, and the Breast Cancer Support Group. Jan was an advocate for Relay for Life and captained a team for many years being one of the first teams for Relay when it came to Dearborn County.
She leaves behind her high school sweetheart and husband, Robert Fehrman of Aurora, IN; children, Brett (Jennifer) Fehrman of Aurora, IN, Holly (Scott) Allen of Aurora, IN; siblings, Sue (Larry) Eubank of Orlando, FL, David Downey of Batavia, OH; grandchildren Brooklynn and Grant Allen and Amber Fehrman; Nieces LaRae (Trey) Smith, Lori (Robert) Sullivan, Lynn (Mike) Sicari; Nephews Tommy (Deena) Downey, Billy (Elizabeth) Downey, Johnny Downey.
Friends will be received 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Aurora First Baptist Church, 6060 Blair Rd., Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Aurora First Baptist Church, Friday, June 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Tom Fehrman, Pastor William Secrest and Mark Tanner officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery in Aurora, IN.
