James Eddy Gates, 63, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away November 17, 2017 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born August 3, 1954 in Batesville, IN, son of the late Walter Edward and June Gates.
Jim worked for a Printing company with over 25 years of service.
Jim loved to be outdoors, he had a great appreciation for the woods. He loved to hunt and fish with his son and grandsons. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry D Gates of Aurora, IN; children, Michelle Reneé Denney of Lawrenceburg, IN, James E. (Rebecca) Gates Jr. of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, David James Denney, Liam Aaron Eugene Rumsey, Hunter William Gates, Samuel Walter Gates, Jacob Daniel Gates.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Orden Gates.
Friends will be received Monday, November 20, 2017, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Tuesday at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
