Bobby Joe Campbell, 77, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Milan, Indiana.
He was born May 4, 1940 in Pineville, KY, son of the late Earl and Viola Campbell.
He served his country as a member of the United States Navy.
Bobby Joe worked as a Field Service Technician for General Electric, retiring after over 32 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement
Surviving are daughters, Rachel (Rob) Thies of Guilford, IN, Rochelle (Lester) Sandlin of North Vernon, IN; grandchildren, Dustin (Brooke) Thies of Lawrenceburg, IN, Joel Sandlin, Kalena Sandlin and Leslie Smith, great grandson, Koel Sandlin; close family friend Charles Locke.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 48 years, Beverly C. Campbell.
Friends will be received Wednesday, November 22, 2017, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the St. John Lutheran Church of Bellaire, 4937 State Road #48, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Church at 1:00 pm with Pastor Matthew Voyer officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
