(Friendship, IN) – The National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association (NMLRA) recently completed a $1.2 million grant-funded shooting range improvement project in partnership with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Grant funds made possible by the Wildlife Restoration Program supported a variety of improvement projects at the Walter Cline Range near Friendship.
Range users can now enjoy new modern restrooms, an updated and ADA-compliant trap facility, a revitalized “Woods Walks” range, improvements to shooter support facilities, and new targets and target holders.
DNR says these features allow additional opportunities for the public, including weekly modern trapshooting and a variety of monthly competitive shoots.
You can find more information on how to access the range at nmlra.org/the-range.
