(Greensburg, IN) – Greensburg City Council and the Board of Works each received an update Tuesday night on the Municipal Complex project, which involves construction of a new fire station and street department headquarters at Broadway and Barachel.

John Bryant with the Veridus Group, which is managing the project, told city leaders the Street Department will likely move into its new headquarters at the start of July, with the Fire Department set to move in toward the end of next month.

Bryant says one hurdle they’re facing is manpower issues in the elevator industry, but they expect to have the work finished on schedule.

The project remains on budget at $19.9 million.
