Indianapolis, IN — Former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels says he will not run for the U.S. Senate.
The Senate seat is being vacated by Republican Mike Braun, who is running for Governor next year.
Daniel’s decision leaves Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) as the only declared Senate candidate.
The former Governor retired as President of Purdue University at the end of 2022.
