(Statehouse) – Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Arts Commission have announced entries are being accepted for the 2024 Hoosier Women Artists Exhibition.
“Every year I look forward to showcasing the work of talented Hoosier women in my office and around the Statehouse,” said Lt. Gov. Crouch. “Hoosier artists have contributed so much to the history of Indiana. I am excited to celebrate their unique talents and see what pieces are submitted this year.”
The competition was established in 2008 and celebrates the importance of art and creativity in Indiana communities and highlights the work of talented female artists around the state.
Selected designees will have their artwork displayed in the offices of female elected officials in the Statehouse and at the Governor’s Residence.
The deadline to enter is Sunday. November 12, and artists should use the Indiana Arts Commission’s Online Application System.
A reception will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Statehouse to honor and showcase the selected artists.
