(Batesville, IN) – Drivers had to deal with a Thursday morning commute headache following a series of slide offs on eastbound I-74 near Batesville.
Snow and slick conditions plus driver speed are being blamed for the accidents.
All lanes of the interstate were closed before one lane was eventually opened.
Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies and other first responders reopened all lanes and cleared the scene between 8:30 and 9 a.m.
