Donald Pryse, 76, of Corinth, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born June 3, 1946, in Owsley, KY, son of the late James Pryse and Beulah (Murphy) Pryse.
He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force for 27 years. After his military service he retired from the Civil Service at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio, where he wrote military contracts. He was a member of Moores Hill American Legion.
In his younger days he enjoyed hunting and tinkering in construction, even building several homes. Donald was a staunch Republican. He loved his dogs Kelsey & Turtle. He was a very caring and compassionate person and would help anyone.
Donald is survived by his wife, Brenda (Wagers) Edwards, children, Joey Pryse of Lawrenceburg, IN, Sonny (Melissa) Pryse of Moores Hill, IN, Shanna (Jason) Carlton of Lawrenceburg, IN; siblings, Rida (Paul) Meyer of Milan, IN, Irene Wiley of Moores Hill, IN, Connie (George) Schebler of Milan, IN; 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10 am – 11 am at the Delaware United Methodist Church, Osgood, Indiana.
A Funeral Service will follow at 11 am with Pastor Tim Osborn officiating.
Following the service lunch will be served!
Contributions may be made to the Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry in Osgood, Indiana or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
