Cheryl Ann Naill, 61, of Mitchell, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 7th, at Mitchell Manor. Cheryl was born in Milan, IN on July 29, 1958, a daughter of the late Wanda Lee (Peters) and William Robert Vinson. Cheryl attended school in Lawrenceburg, IN until her junior year. She completed her education at William Henry Harrison High School and Diamond Oaks School, graduating in 1977. She worked in turbo reproduction for Reliabillt. Cheryl also worked at Penske and Domaner Chrysler and several different restaurants over the years. She was the wife of Dennis Naill. On December 3, 1977, they were married at the Shepherd of the Sea Chapel in Groton, CT. Dennis and Cheryl were married over 41 years until her passing. Cheryl lover to travel and collected roosters and carousels. Family was the most important thing to Cheryl.
In addition to her loving husband Dennis, Cheryl is survived by two daughters, Devin Kenny (John), of Bloomington, IN and Tiffany Naill, of Mitchell, IN; by grandchildren: Christina Brown (Ray), Theresa White (Matt), Jenna Kenny, Olivia Kenny, Allen Kenny, Xavior Naill & Wolf Messer and by great-grandchildren: Ryan Brown, Dominic White, Brenna White, Elizabeth Goodrich, Sean Goodrich & Ryan Goodrich and one on the way. Cheryl is also survived by three sisters, Debbie Wright (David), of Dillsboro, IN; Beverly Vinson, of Harrison, OH and Connie McCool (Chris), of Summerville, SC; by two brothers, Robert Vinson (Mary), of Aurora, IN and Steven Vinson, of Spotsylvania, VA. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, by her daughter, Raven Naill and by her granddaughter Anna Kenny.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Wednesday, September 11th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-8 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rising Sun United Methodist Church.
