Caryl J. Miller, age 92 of Batesville, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Greenwood Meadows in Greenwood, Indiana. Born May 23, 1927 in Batesville, she is the daughter of Cecil (Nee: Gibson) and Alvadore Beck. She married William “Bing” Miller November 23, 1946 at St. Louis Church and he preceded her in death May 23, 1985. She was a first grade teacher for many years at St. Louis School.
Caryl had a true loved for music and could listen for hours at a time. She also liked to travel and take trips as well as being an excellent baker. Her Cherry pies will certainly be missed. Most importantly, she treasured spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Rebecca Miller of Washington, D.C., Susan Miller of Houston, Texas, Abigail Miller of Indianapolis; sons Timothy Miller of San Diego, California, Kevin (Casey) Miller of Evanston, Illinois; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by brothers Tilford, Lloyd, Carl, Allen and Robert Beck.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 16th, at St. Louis Church with Rev. Stan Pondo officiating. Caryl will be cremated following services and a private interment will be held. Memorials maybe made to the donor’s choice. For online condolences go to www.weigelfh.com.
