Carol Jackson, 63, of Clarksburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Franklin County due to flash flooding. Carol was born on August 15, 1955 to Cleon & Lila (Glynn) Schwarz in Palmer, Nebraska. Carol received a Bachelor’s in Christian Education from Nebraska Christian College and a Masters of Religious Education from Cincinnati Christian University. Carol married Jerran Jackson on June 3, 1977 in Palmer, Nebraska and they have been married for 41 years. Carol served alongside her husband Jerran with Clarksburg Christian Church. Carol and Jerran were blessed with six children: Joel (& Becca) Jackson, Mikaela (& Josh) Taylor, Krista Jackson, Lareesa (& Joel) McMonigle, Nashana (& Bryan) Meese, and Jathan Jackson, all of whom survive. Carol & Jerran were also blessed with one Granddaughter, Karis Alētheia Jackson and Grandbaby Meese on the way. Also surviving are her Parents, Cleon and Lila Schwarz and Siblings, Rhonda (Al) Juve, Kirk (Deb) Schwarz, and Colleen (Dr. Dave) Paine.
A reception style visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 in the Clarksburg Christian Church Family Center at 6708 N County Road 700 E, Clarksburg, IN 47225 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the main church building. Rev. Steve Yeaton and Rev. Mark Vice will be officiating. Burial will be private at the Clarksburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clarksburg Christian Church, National Bible Bowl, or to the Miyazaki Bible House.
