The St Louis Cardinals 5th Grade Boys Basketball came up short in their game against Greendale 5th-Grade Boys, losing by a score of 21 to 18.
The boys played hard and fought their way back into the game after being down at halftime with a chance to tie in the last half-minute of the game. St Louis stands at 3-2 so far this season.
St Louis was led in scoring by Calvin Padgett with 7 points, Sam Dice with 6 while Ray Walke had 4 points and Andrew King had 1 point.
The Cardinals are at home on Monday, November 23 versus St Mary 5th grade boys at 6 PM.

The St. Louis 6th Grade Boys Basketball team won an exciting game over Greendale by a score of 32-22. Trailing through three quarters, the Cardinals caught fire outscoring Greendale 13-2 in the fourth quarter.
Leading the way was Rylan Yeager with twelve points followed closely by David Koch with ten points. Adam Weber chipped in five points. Augie Hillenbrand and Cayden Lieland each netted two points. Carson Hartwell rounded out the Cardinal scoring attack with one point.
The win puts St. Louis at 3-2 on the season.

The St Louis Cardinals 5th Grade Boys Basketball came up short in their game against St Michael’s, losing by a score of 25 to 17.
The boys played hard but were not able to overcome the unforced errors and the inspired play of St Michael. St Louis stands at 3-1 so far this season.
St Louis was led in scoring by Ray Walke with 7 points, Sam Dice with 6 while Andrew King and Calvin Padgett had 2 points each.
The Cardinals travel to Lawrenceburg to take on the 5th-grade boys from Greendale Elementary on Wednesday, Nov, 8.

The St. Louis 6th Grade Boys Basketball team lost a tough game to St. Michael’s by a score of 33-23. The Cardinals fall to 2-2 on the season.
Leading the way for St. Louis was Adam Weber with nine points followed closely by Nash King with eight points. Rylan Yeager scored five points and Augie Hillenbrand chipped in one point for the Cardinals.
The boys have two games left before Thanksgiving break.
