(Holton, IN) – Customers of the Holton Community Water Corporation are under a Boil Advisory because of the water main break within the Hoosier Hills Regional Water District over the weekend.
The advisory for Holton Water customers is in effect until further notice.
A Boil Advisory is a precautionary measure issued by the water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.
It is recommended that you boil all water used for drinking and for food preparation for two minutes.
Water used for laundry, showering, shaving, and watering grass or plants is safe to use without boiling.
