(Aurora, IN) – Batesville Middle School 7th grade girls basketball claimed the 2026 SEI Tournament with a 43-9 win over the East Central Trojans at South Dearborn Thursday night.
The Bulldogs’ Kinslee Weisenbach led all scorers with 18 points, while Laney Ibold added nine.
Lauren Ollier chipped in seven points; Tiyla Rolfsen contributed five, and Hazel Lewis and Emma Campbell both scored two points.
Coach Erin Trenkamp says Lilly Reding, Syd Muckerheide, and Kinley Lanham also played vital roles in the game.
“The defense stand point was what kept this group of girls undefeated and the champions. They worked hard to better their game daily,” Trenkamp said.
