Benjamin “Ben” Louis Goodin, age 42, of Bright, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, in Florence, Kentucky. He was born the son of Franklin Goodin and Cristi Stevens on January 31, 1982, in Oxford, Ohio. After high school, he received a CMPA college degree. He married Gabrielle Borgman on September 7, 2013, in Gulf Shores, Alabama and was self-employed as a plumber. He was a member of the Amvets Post #13 in West Harrison, Indiana.
Ben is survived by his loving wife, Gabrielle (Borgman) Goodin, his daughters, Olivia and Payton Goodin, his parents Franklin Goodin and Cristi Stevens, his brothers Jake Goodin, Nick Goodin, and Aaron Houchin, and his maternal grandfather, George Hendricks. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Steve Borgman, and his mother-in-law, Robin Borgman, sister-in-law, Chelsea Clemons, and brother-in-law, Brandon Borgman.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Deo and Elsie Goodin, maternal grandmother, Janet Hendricks, and brother-in-law, Cameron Clemons.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service held at 7:00 p.m., with Todd Wolfe officiating, all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home, 215 East Broadway Street, Harrison, Ohio 45030.
Ben was an organ donor through Life Center. Memorials may be directed to Autism Foundation or Autism Speaks.
