(Indianapolis, IN) – It was quite the upset over the weekend in Indianapolis.

Indiana Republican Party convention delegates on Saturday chose Noblesville pastor Micah Beckwith as the GOP nominee for Lieutenant Governor.

Delegates named Beckwith by a narrow margin over gubernatorial nominee Mike Braun’s handpicked choice – first term State Rep. Julie McGuire (HD 93/Indianapolis).

She received a last-minute endorsement from former President Donald Trump.

The delegates also nominated incumbent Attorney General Todd Rokita, who ran unopposed.
