STATEWIDE — Two local tourism leaders have been named to the inaugural class of the Indiana Tourism Academy.
Franklin County Tourism Executive Director Mikel Beck and Decatur County Tourism Executive Director Philip Deiwert are two of the 14 members of the inaugural class.
Indiana Tourism started the Indiana Tourism Academy this year to provide education, networks, and resources necessary to develop travel professionals throughout the State of Indiana.
The group (pictured) will meet six times in the coming year and they’ll graduate with a certificate of completion from the Indiana Tourism Association.
