The Batesville High School wrestling team continued its season with a strong showing at the grueling two-day Spartan Classic in Connersville. Competing against 38 teams, the Bulldogs earned 106 team points, finishing 17th overall. Five wrestlers advanced to Day 2, with four placing in their respective weight classes.
- Carson Weiler (106): Weiler went 5-2 on the weekend, securing a 4th place finish. His performance included 2 pins, a major decision, and 2 decision victories, improving his record to 19-5.
- Damien Dance (165): Dance also went 5-2, placing 7th. He tallied 4 pins and a forfeit victory, moving his record to an impressive 22-2.
- Andrew Jones (215): Jones finished 7th with a 5-2 record, recording 3 pins, a major decision, and an injury default. His season record now stands at 12-5.
- Max Amberger (unspecified weight): Amberger claimed 4th place with a 5-2 showing, racking up 3 pins, a forfeit, and a decision win. He improved his record to 22-2.
- Adam Brewer (132): Brewer made it to Day 2 with a 3-2 record, earning a pin, an injury default, and a forfeit victory, advancing his record to 20-2.
