The Batesville Bats defeated the Brownstown Sluggers 9-4 to win the Cal Ripken 9U Southern Indiana Semi-State Championship on Sunday in Batesville.
The team advances to the Indiana State Championship next weekend in Riley, IN where they will take on the host in the best of 3 for the state crown.
