Jack Lee Tufts, 94, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
He was born February 21, 1930, in Aurora, IN, son of the late Frank Tufts and Anna (McIntyre) Tufts.
He served his country as a member of the United States Airforce.
He worked as a Truck Driver for Alton Box, with many years of service.
He was a member of the Aurora Masons, and a Lifetime member of the Aurora Eagles.
Jack is survived by his loving spouse Mildred “Millie” Tufts, daughter, Sheila Clark; son, Steve (Missy) Tufts; grandchildren, Derek & Duane McNeely, Jessica Avila, Travis Tufts; great-grandchildren, Anna, Kristen, Lauren McNeely, Valerie & Hunter Avila, Mia & Weston Tufts.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Anna Tufts; brothers, Frank & Robert Tufts; son in law, Dickie Clark.
Friends will be received Tuesday, May 7, 2024, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN 47001. Masonic services will be held at 12:45 pm.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Eric Hallstrom officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, IN. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Southeastern Indiana Honor Guard.
