Aurora

  • The Dearborn County Recycling Center will host the 15th annual Costume Swap event from October 2-30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (except for Monday, October 14th) from 1 – 6 PM.
  • Trick-or-treating in Aurora is on Thursday, October 31st from 6 – 8 PM.

Batesville

  • Booville will continue in Batesville from Tuesday, October 1st to Thursday, October 31st. This will include skeleton scavenger hunts, spooky Halloween tricks and treats, devilish shopping deals, and tantalizing treats from area restaurants.
  • Join Safe Passage at RomWeber Marketplace on Saturday, October 19th from 1 – 3 PM for a spooktacular Trunk or Treat event!
    Halloween Parade: hosted by Batesville’s American Legion Post 271. The parade will be on Thursday, October 31st at 6 PM, starting at the Batesville Memorial Pool.

Brookville

  • Trick-or-treating in Brookville is on Thursday, October 31st from 6 – 8 PM.

Dillsboro

  • The Halloween Costume Contest and Parade is on Wednesday, October 30th at 6:30 PM. The parade will line up at the old US Bank lot at 6 PM. The parade will begin at 6 PM and will travel to the Civic Club Building. In case of rain, the parade will be canceled and the contest will be moved inside the Civic Club. First place will win $15, second place will win $10, and third place will win $5.

    Dillsboro PTO is hosting Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 31st from 6 – 8 PM in the Dillsboro Elementary Parking Lot.

Greensburg

  • Adams Township Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Halloween party on Sunday, October 20th from 2 – 4 PM. You can dress in a costume if you would like to. Your family can enjoy food, drink, games, and fun for kids of all ages.

Lawrenceburg

  • The Conductors of Southeastern Indiana Model Train Association will present a Halloween Train Display at the Lawrenceburg Public Library on Friday, October 25th from 9 AM -5 PM and Saturday, October 26th from 10 AM – 5 PM. The presentation will be in the Depot Meeting Room.

Milan

  • Trick-or-treating in Milan is on Thursday, October 31st from 5 – 7 PM

Moores Hill

  • Moores Hill Costume Contest is on Thursday, October 31st at 5:45. The contest will be held at Moores HillVeteran Memorial Park.

Oldenburg

  • Trick-or-treat in Oldenburg is on Thursday, October 31st from 6 – 8 PM.

Osgood

  • Trick-or-treat in Osgood is on Thursday, October 31st from 5 – 7 PM.

Rising Sun

  • Friday Fun in Rising Sun-Fall-O-Ween is on Friday, October 18th from 4 – 7 PM. At this FREE public event, you can enjoy hay rides, pumpkin bowling, and more!
  • The Southeastern Indiana Board of Realtors will be presenting a Truck or Treat event on Main Street in Downtown Rising Sun on Saturday, October 26th from 3 – 7 PM. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Wendy at 812-926-4644.
  • The Purdue Extension Ohio County Office will host a Haunted House on Saturday, October 26th, and Thursday, October 31st from 6 – 8 PM. The $1 entry fee will go to the Ohio County 4-H program.

Sunman

  • Trick-or-treating in Sunman is on Thursday, October 31st from 6 – 8 PM.

Versailles

  • The Versailles State Park Halloween Spooktacular is on Saturday, October 19th. The pumpkin decorating contest is between 12 – 2 PM, the costume contest is between 3-4 PM, and the campsite decorating contest and trick-or-treating will begin at 8 PM.
  • Versailles State Park Halloween Spooktacular II is on Saturday, October 26th. The costume contest is from 2 PM to 3 PM, the trick-or-treating from 4 PM. to 7 PM, and a campsite decorating contest with judging at 8 PM.
  • Trick-or-treating in Versailles is on Thursday, October 31st from 5 – 7 PM. The Halloween parade will begin at 7 PM at the Versailles American Legion. The costume contest and treats on the Holdsworth Entertainment Pavilion will follow.

Westport

  • Trick-or-treating in Westport is on Thursday, October 31st from 5 – 8 PM
  • Harper Valley Farms Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 12th, and Sunday, October 13th from 11 AM – 5 PM.  The ladies from Union Flat Rock Baptist Church will be bringing goodies to eat in addition to their normal pumpkin picking. Church members will be having a short service on Sunday morning.
