Indiana Excise Officers served search warrants, Thursday morning, on at least four Mexican restaurants in the WRBI listening area. The state Alcohol and Tobacco Commission has confirmed the establishments have been targets of a 2-year investigation by the Indiana Attorney General and Indiana Department of Revenue. El Reparo locations in Greensburg, Brookville and Rushville, along with Mezcal Bar & Grill in Rushville share the same owner — according to paperwork on file with the Indiana Secretary of State. The popular establishments were closed Thursday afternoon after the raids occurred. ATC would not offer comment on the nature of the investigation or whether any arrests have been made.
