Mary June Williams – Brookville

Mary June Williams, of Brookville, was born on June 29, 1932 in Brookville, the daughter of Damon and Alvina Gerber Weileman.  She married Richard “Dick” E. Williams on August 18, 1951 at St. Michael Church and together they raised 5 children.  June was busy as a housewife and mother but also worked at Rosenberger’s, Fayette Federal, and was co-owner of Four Seasons Florist.  She was active in her community and church – as a member of St. Michael she sang in the choir from 1948-2015 and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hat Club.  June always found time to help with school activities as well.  On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the age of 85, she passed away at Brookville Healthcare Center.

 

Those surviving who will cherish June’s memory include her children; Melanie (Ric) Fullenkamp of Batesville, Nicholas (Peggy) Williams of Huntsville, AL, Eric (Joy) Williams of Louisville, KY, Philip (Barbara) Williams of Brookville, and Neil (Colleen) Williams of Loveland, OH; 11 grandchildren, Aaron Fullenkamp, Molly Fullenkamp, Erika Richie, Jarrod Butler, Katie Williams Holmund, Kyle Williams, Kelli Williams, Abby Williams, Emily Williams, Natalie Williams, and Kacie Williams; 8 great grandchildren, Elijah Fullenkamp, Adeline Fullenkamp, Ellis Richie, Olive Richie, Mateo Holmund, Vega Holmund, Lilliana Butler, and Dahlia Butler. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Williams on September 18, 2017; one brother, Jim Weileman, and two sisters, Joyce Burns and Janet Weileman.

 

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Rosary will be recited at 4:30.  Father Sean Danda will officiate a Mass of Christian burial at St. Michael Catholic Church on Monday at 9:30 a.m. with burial following in the church cemetery.
