Todd M. Siebert

Todd Marlin Siebert passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2021 surrounded by many friends and family. The son of Marlin Siebert and Carol (Kops) Siebert was born on October 7, 1969 in Batesville, IN. He was 51 years old.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Tina; his daughters, Stacey Grieshop (David), and Mikayla Eckstein (Matthew); his parents, Marlin Siebert (Julia) and Carol Siebert; his five grandchildren, Matthew Siebert, Connor & Wyatt Grieshop, Maci & Madison Eckstein; four step-grandchildren, Dion, Damon, Devin & Darian Grieshop; and one brother, John Siebert (Jackie).

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Mildred Kops and Raymond & Betty Siebert, uncle Dennis Kops and uncle Leon Siebert.

Todd married his high-school sweetheart, Tina Dickman, on October 27, 1990.  They would have celebrated their 31st anniversary this year.  Todd was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crossroads.

Anyone that knew Todd, didn’t call him by his name.  He was known as Big T.  He was tall and stout, not only was his stature grand but also his heart and personality.  Todd was a gentle giant with a caring and giving spirit that has full of life.  At the young age of 47, he was diagnosed with ALS.  ALS deprived him of many things, but that didn’t stop him from enjoying life.

Todd loved nothing more than spending time with Tina, their two daughters and grandchildren.  He also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his many friends, vacationing, going to the casino, golfing, bowling, watching Nascar and the Purdue Boilermakers.  However, his true passion, was farming and caring for his hogs.  He grew up farming with his grandfather, John Kops, where he eventually took over and created Siebert Farms with the hopes that his legacy would be passed down through many generations.

Visitation will be Friday, May 28, 2021 from 4-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville with funeral services at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 29th at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crossroads with Rev. Creighton P. Leptak officiating. Following services there will be fellowship at his home for family and friends.

Memorials may be given to ALS by bringing to services or mailing to: Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
