Versailles, In. — South Ripley High School were recently recognized during a school-wide ceremony for their work procuring the school news. Throughout the year Julia Rea, Michaela Diem, John Hauck, David Field, Cameo Hamm and Chance McMeans prepared weekly broadcasts that aired at least three times daily on WRBI.
Under the direction of Mrs. Brenda Strimple, the students learn how to write, prepare and present school news in a radio broadcast format. The students are also able to use equipment consistent with some commercial studios.
