Patriot, IN — On Friday evening, Switzerland County Deputies responded to a report of a person shot in Patriot. When Deputies arrived at the residence, they found Jeremiah Powell, 39, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper right leg. Powell was treated at the scene by Switzerland County Emergency Response before being transported to the University of Cincinnati Hospital with a serious injury.
During the investigation by deputies, Powell’s girlfriend, Stacey Henderson, 39, was arrested and charged on allegations of Aggravated Battery, Domestic Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Domestic Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Child, and Pointing a Firearm.
