DECATUR COUNTY, IN — A Winter Storm Warning has been issued from 7 pm Wednesday until 1 am Friday for Decatur County.
The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says heavy mixed precipitation is expected, with total sleet and snow accumulations in excess of three inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch.
Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Officials say if you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
Ripley, Franklin and Dearborn counties are under a Winter Storm Watch from 9 pm Wednesday through 7 am Friday.
