Wildcats Prevail Against Red Devils On The Track

Franklin County High School Girls Varsity Track finishes 1st place at Richmond High School 105-26.

Lady Wildcats won 15 of 16 events.  Kirsten Voegele- 100 (12.90), 200 ( 27.08); Charlotte Barrett- 100m H (19.82); Ashlan Hill- 400 (1:06), LJ (16’ 1.5”); Jenna Orschell- 800 (2:51); Lauren Kelley- 1600m (5:54), 3200m (12:32); Grace Kruthaupt- 300m H (58.08); Bailey Parkhurst- Shot Put (27’ 2.5); Megan Reed- Discus (79’ 1); Anna Schatzle- Pole Vault (9’6”); 4×1 team of Voegele, Schatzle, Kruthaupt, Reister; 4×4 team of Hill, Orschell, Meyer, Voegele; 4×8 team of Orschell, Meyer, Kelley, Stewart.

Franklin County High School Boys Varsity Track finishes 1st place at Richmond High School 75-57.

Winners for the boys: Josh Derenski- 400 (54.04); Cody Moore- 800 (2:05), 1600m (5:05); Evan Apsley- 3200m (11:16), PV (11’); Hunter Mayfield- HJ (5’8”); Blake Jewell- 110 H (17.50); Brady Bogan- 300 H (44.76); The 4×4 team of Tschaenn, Moore, Derenski, Mozena; The 4×8 team of Moore, Apsley, Selm, Klusman.  Boys won all the distance events! On a team that is historically known for its sprinters, it was our distance crew that carried us to the win!
