With a 13-3 win at Lawrenceburg Thursday night, Franklin County moved their conference record to 11-1 on year, guaranteeing themselves at least a share of the EIAC championship. FC will need to win 1 game against Rushville next week to secure sole possession of the conference championship.
Matthew Billman earned a complete game win on Thursday, allowing just 2 earned runs on 4 hits. Augustus Runyon led the Wildcat offense with 3 hits followed by Andrew Beaman’s 2 hits.
The Wildcats will travel to Rushville on Monday before ending the regular season with 3 home games. Tuesday vs. New Castle, Thursday vs. Rushville and Friday vs. Cambridge City Lincoln.
