(Westport, IN) – The Westport Police Department is warning residents and businesses about a counterfeit money incident.
Officers say a $20 bill with the words “Copy Money” and other printed irregularities was used at a local business this week.
Business owners and Westport residents are being urged to check their currency and to report anything that looks suspicious by calling Decatur County Communications at (812) 222-4911.
