Weather Advisory Canceled but Slick Spots Remain

(Southeastern IN) – The National Weather Service has canceled the Winter Weather Advisory that was supposed to be in effect until late this morning.

Patchy and very light snow and flurries will continue, but forecasters say little to no additional accumulation is expected.

However, you’re urged to use caution on the roads this morning because of slick spots.

In fact, Indiana State Police reported multiple crashes and slide offs on I-74 in Decatur County last night after snow began falling.

A number of local schools were either closed or on a delay Thursday because of the overnight snowfall that left behind slick road conditions.
