Batesville, Ind. — The Vintage Motor Car Club of America will tour Southeastern Indiana this week.
About 25 vintage cars, built between 1955 and 1975, will go to Milan Tuesday the group will visit the Milan ’54 Hoosiers Museum, then host a car viewing at the Batesville Area Historical Museum from 1 to 4 p.m.
The group includes the Hoosier Hills Auto Club and local enthusiasts with their cars.
“Car enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their car to the historical museum as we will have a lot of automotive history on display,” said Bill Flannery, vice president of the Batesville Area Historical Society.
Wednesday the cars will be in Sunman at McPherson’s, the Lawrenceburg Speedway for lunch then to historic Verastau in Aurora.
On Thursday the group will make several stops in the Madison area.
Friday the group returns to Batesville for a stop at Weberding’s Carving Shop, the town of Oldenburg, Metamora and a closing ceremony in Batesville at The Sherman.
