The Oldenburg Academy Twisters defeated The Trinity Lutheran Cougars 5-0 in Boys Varsity Soccer.
‘Our offense is starting to jell. When we share the ball and keep it moving it opens up a lot of opportunities. We did this for parts of the game other times we tried to go too much one on one. I thought in the second half we tried to play to direct forcing our play at times. Trinity seemed to bypass their mid’s and play from the back to the front. Our defense led by Adam Huber did a great job of taking that away from them. Any time you limit the other team to 6 shots with 3 on goal you have to be happy. Our bench just got deeper as Alex Geers was released to play. Alex is coming back from a broken arm he suffered this summer.’ Twisters Coach Mike Getz.
