Tourism offering marketing grant in Ohio County

Rising Sun, IN—The Ohio County Convention, Tourism, and Visitors Commission is pleased to announce 2020 Marketing Grant opportunities for non-profit/501 organizations. Grants are being made available to non-profit organizations that produce tourism-related events/projects to generate visitors and overnight stays in Rising Sun/Ohio County, Indiana.

The purpose of the Marketing Grant is to defray marketing costs for brochures, posters, advertising, signs, banners, etc., that help organizations generate tourism in Rising Sun/Ohio County. Marketing Grants are available up to $5000 per event. Grant funds do not have to be paid back to the Commission. All events/projects must be held in Rising Sun/Ohio County in 2020.

Applications are available at the Visitors Center located at 217 N. High Street in Rising Sun during normal business hours or by e-mailing Kendal Miller, executive director, at [email protected].

Submissions can be dropped off at the Visitors Center or mailed through the USPS with an event project/budget by Monday, November 4, 2019 at 4: 30 p.m. Submissions received after this date/time will be ineligible for funding in 2020. A final report will be required within three months after the close of the 2020 event/project. A signed contract between the Tourism Commission and grant awardees will also be required.
