Tomorrow is Free Fishing Day in Indiana

(Statewide) – Tomorrow is the first of this year’s Free Fishing Days across the state.

Indiana residents don’t need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp in order to cast a line on the state’s public waters.

All other rules, such as seasons, bag and size limits apply.

Indiana DNR says Free Fishing Days are an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing.

This year’s other free fishing days are June 7 and 8, and September 27.
