Batesville, In. — During the late-night hours of May 3rd into the early-morning hours of May 4th, area law enforcement responded to an underage drinking party in Hillindale Commons Subdivision.
Law enforcement officers from the Indiana State Police, Ripley County Sheriff’s Office and the Batesville Police Department worked together in a coordinated effort to curtail the underage party. Several arrests were made of adults for Resisting Law Enforcement and Minor Consuming Alcohol offenses. Several citations were also issued to juveniles present at the party.
This matter is still under investigation and anyone with additional information should contact area law enforcement or the Ripley County Prosecutor’s Office.
