Tina Helton, 40, of Milan passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at her mother and stepfather’s residence in Sunman with family by her side. Tina was born Tuesday, November 6, 1979 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Joyce Minges Dobson and the late Russel Guy. She married Derek Helton on September 2, 2006 and he survives. Tina was a 1998 graduate of Milan High School. She worked for Lykins Energy Solutions, Kelly’s Oil, and the Milan Post Office. She was a baseball, football, and basketball “Mom”, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Tina is survived by her husband Derek, children Justin, Savannah, and Jacob all of Milan; Mother Joyce (David) Dobson of Sunman; sisters Richelle (Alvin) Davidson of Batesville and Ellie Wheelden of Greendale; brother Russel (Laura) Guy Jr. of Milan; sister-in-law Sarah Deskins of Greenfield; and mother-in-law Rhonda Helton of Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her father Russel Guy; stepfather Charles Kallendorf; and father-in-law Glen Helton.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember her 5 – 7 PM Wednesday, July 8 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Harris Long having a prayer at 7 PM.
