Time to bid Daylight Saving Time farewell

Batesville, In. — The end is near-Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, November 5! At 2 a.m. clocks will be turned back one hour.

The result will be an extra hour of sunlight in the morning, but the evenings will get darker sooner. Safety experts say it’s also a good time to check smoke detector batteries in the home.

Daylight Saving Time is NOT observed in Arizona, Hawaii and select territories.
