
That’s the word in a social media post from the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office after three people were arrested late Wednesday night when deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in Holton around 11:35 p.m.
Deputies say they found suspected methamphetamine, syringes, scales and marijuana in the home.
Two Holton residents – 35-year-old Lucas Vaughn and 29-year-old Alexandrea Curry – and 34-year-old Destiny Walker of Versailles, were arrested without incident.
Vaughn is behind bars on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe; Legend Drug Deception; Maintaining a Common Nuisance (all Level 6 felonies); Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class A misdemeanor), and Possession of Marijuana (Class B misdemeanor).
Curry is charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 felony).
Walker is jailed on a charge of Visiting a Common Nuisance (Class B misdemeanor).
“This operation reflects the tremendous teamwork and coordination required to safely execute a search warrant and remove dangerous drugs from our community. We are proud of the dedication shown by every deputy, and partnering agency involved,” reads a statement from the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office. “Their collective effort not only ensures the safety of our personnel, but strengthens our ongoing commitment to protecting the residents of this county. We will continue to work tirelessly to keep illegal drugs off our streets.”
The other agencies involved in executing the warrant were not disclosed.
