Teddy Harold Ruryk, 91, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024.
He was born January 16, 1933, in Walton County, FL, son of the late Andrew Ruryk and Olive
(Hall) Ruryk.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was Baptized in 1952. He
was also a Book Binder for the Watchtower Bible Society at Bethel in New York.
Teddy met his wife of 62 years in 1958 at the “Divine Will International Assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses” at
the New York Yankee Stadium.
Teddy worked as an Industrial Painter for Sam K. Painting. He painted seats at the Cincinnati
Reds Stadium, the Florence Y’all Tower, and the I-275 Bridge between Indiana and Kentucky.
He also worked as a Real Estate Broker, joined Burress Hometrend and then went on to
develop his own business he named Economy Real Estate. His biggest interest was studying
the Bible’s truth.
Teddy is survived by his loving spouse of 62 years, Delilah (Bruce) Ruryk; children, Teddy
“TeeJay” Ruryk Jr of Cincinnati, OH, and Debi Ruryk of Lawrenceburg, IN; Douglas (Donna)
Ruryk of Orlando, FL; siblings, Richard Ruryk of Crawfordville, FL, Gene Ruryk of Clermont, FL,
Carolyn Ray of Pensacola, FL, David Ruryk of Pineville, LA, Sandra Infinger of Destin, FL, Don
Ruryk of Milton, FL; grandchildren, Andrew Seabolt, Christopher (Mia) Seabolt, Brittney Belser,
Zachary Ruryk, Jesse Ruryk; great-grandchildren, Christian Seabolt, Michelle Belser, Molly
Seabolt, Dylan Seabolt and Anika Belser.
He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Olive Ruryk; sisters, Mary Ruryk, and
Helen (Ruryk) Whitton.
Friends will be received Saturday, March 9, 2024, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger
Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Services will be held at the funeral home, at 12:00 pm with Mike Billman officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
