Vevay, IN—The 49th annual Swiss Wine Festival will be canceled for 2020. After much discussion, the Board of Directors stated that they decided to not go through with the 2020 festival due to COVID-19 as the health and safety of participants and our community is the top priority, and believes given the current situation, canceling the event, that is less than three months away, is the responsible thing to do.
The event would not be possible without the many volunteers and organizations that contribute to putting on the festival each year, and the hundreds of hours of planning. Each year our goal is to make the festival better for the attendees, in the hopes that they will want to return each year. The Swiss Wine Festival has seen continued growth over the years and the Board would like to see it prosper for years to come.
The Board says they are confident they will deliver a world-class experience for the 2021 Swiss Wine Festival and are eagerly looking forward to the Best Swiss Wine Festival to-date.
