STATEWIDE — Indiana superintendents are asking the state to suspend school accountability grades for a second straight year.
Legislators withheld A-to-F grades this year because a change in how the ISTEP exam is constructed put it out of sync with what schools are teaching.
Greensburg Superintendent Tom Hunter charges the new test was hastily cobbled together and doesn’t accurately reflect student or school performance.
He’s suggesting scores will go down again when they’re released Thursday morning.
