Sunman, IN — The Town of Sunman is mourning the death of Marilyn Decker, who passed away early Monday. Decker served as town council president for the past year and a half. To honor her memory, the Marilyn Decker Memorial Fund has been set up at the FCN Bank branch in Sunman.
Meanwhile, the Sunman Town Council meeting that was scheduled for tonight at 6:30 has been postponed due to Decker’s passing. Town officials wrote on social media that they need time to regroup. Agenda items in need of more immediate attention before council’s July meeting will be discussed at a public meeting scheduled for Monday, June 21 at 6 pm.
